Well I received notice of approval and my first check for short-term disability. Now I am working on medical retirement. Additionally, the local paper did a story on mine and a coworkers discrimination charges we filed against the city we worked for. Maybe it will help motivate the city to mediate some settlement, which is all I asked for in the first place. Just wanted to protect my rights when I filed the EEOC claim and since then, the dragon lady at work continued to hound me to the point I felt I had no option but to file for medical retirement. I am emotionally, mentally and physically drained. I really am anxious to get this all over with.

Hi Randy so glad to hear your good news and hoping that you will be able to relax now. Way to go and fighting for rights should not be so draining ... lol gail

Well its good to hear that your short term disability has been approved. Now if your claim against the evil dragon lady will be approved, life will be GOOD. Will continue to keep you in my prayers.
Hugs
