I Know this question has probably been asked before  but what makes out stomach go from flat to huge in just a few minutes and then sometime right back to being small.. I know that food gets stuck in my intestines because sometimes I can see it trying to go through (it looks like a baby kicking in my stomach) but what else make it so bloated..

 thanks yeah

I think for me its gas. I dont get the bloated feeling as often as some but its very uncomfortable as you know. I just assumed it was gas.
Crohns 30 years. Ileostomy for 15 years. Symptom free for 14 years until 10 months ago. Was on Remicade but just recently switched to Humira because remicade stopped working, B-12 injections and iron.

I agree with yellowfin43, I think it is gas.

Unless I am having a blockage, its gas for me. I can sometimes feel it moving around and also see it. My daughter, who doesn't have CD, also can feel and see gas moving around. She calls it her alien in her belly.

CD 20 years officially, 30 unofficially. 3 resections '93, '95 '97
Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!

Prednisone, 6MP,Prevacid, B12 shots, Bentyl, Xifaxan.....
