Edited. I'm sorry, Harry, but it is not appropriate to use these forums to convert others to your political views. Please review the forum rules:

11. No posts of an overtly political or religious nature OR posts promoting advocacy of particular personal, medical, legal, religious, political, or non-profit causes. The forums are intended for offering mutual personal support. Debating controversial subjects should be taken elsewhere.

Saying "I am against this policy and want you to read this article so you'll agree with me" is not an appropriate way to invite discussion on HealingWell forums. Instead, your approach (as another mod has commented) immediately alienates those who do not agree with your political stance, and detracts from the supportive atmosphere we try to cultivate here.

If you are *genuinely* interested in discussing the pros and cons of this policy, I invite you to rephrase your original post in a less politicised manner, and we *may* allow the discussion to continue.

Not sure what the article says but I believe all people should have complete access to doctors, medicine, hospital, etc.
Universal Health Care is the way to go. I live in Canada and I love our system! France's system is even better, I've heard.

I've never had much problems with wait times.

I agree Roni. It is time America had Universal health care.

Well, as an American, I am completely opposed to Universal Healthcare for the US.

The one thing I think people from other countries may not understand is that this is now a *completely political* issue here in the States. Also, currently all citizens and non-citizens DO have access doctors, medicine, hospitals, etc. here. Again, it has become so very political that one cannot even discuss it here adequately. I just hope Americans will inform themselves...

Guys please review the rules. This post was edited because it violated rule #11. No posts of a overtly political nature. Please stop posting to this post or I will delete the whole thing.

Thank you!
