Does anyone happen to know where I might find information on crohn's and genetics. I asked the geneticist when I was pregnant and she said my kids would have about a 6% chance of having it. My brother, 2 sisters and I are the first generation in our family to have it. Out of 5 kids by the same 2 parents over a span of 14 years, 3 have crohn's and one has UC, now my 15 year old son and 14 year old nephew(son of the only undiagnosed child) are both having questionable symptoms. My 16 year old neice also has just tested positive ( I do not know what test it was) for colitis and is going to have a colonoscopy in Sept.
Apparently my family should stop breeding, but seriously, this is getting rediculous. Does anyone know where I can find information on this??
