I need to know something my friend told me yesterday that I was passing blood because my stool is green gritty I don't see any blood she told me the gritty stuff was blood I'm confused why she thinks this its dark green gritty some times but doesn't look bloody to me so why is she saying this.
I only actauall saw blood once and that was right after having a colonoscopy but just alittle.
How ever I have spit up blood four times and I'm seeing my Dr. monday for this. I'm sure Dr will run all kinds of test.
My friend keeps telling me that I need a second oppinion its kinda of agravating to me  because I know I have had these problems for many years I saw my colonoscocy on camera. I've had the relux/gerd for many years along with the gut cramps. I totally trust my Dr.
Wouldn't you just hate it if your friend constantly rolled there eyes at you because they seem to know more then the Dr. and you about your own syptoms. Wouldn't you see red blood if you are passing any. I have been pretty tired the last couple of days and I think its a mix of all the symptoms. I was in the hospital for ten days because of the gut cramping.
I don't have much of a appetite right now I thinks its because of being scared I'll throw myself into bad cramping and yes this is comming from someone that asks if its okay to have a drink or two on there vacation. nono I'll will chance that when the time gets here if I don't have to have any surgery. Never know it might do me some good or maybe not. It may be a thing of the pass though I'll test the waters in sept.
Thank you, Kathy

Blood in the stool is either red (from hemmies or down low in the GI tract) or black/tarry like coffee grounds (from up high, alowing it to clot and darken as it moves down.) Aliens have green blood. You can get a fecal occult blood test kit from your pharmacy for about $15 and test it yourself.

Thanks that sure makes more sense to me. I don't have that problem. I must be a Alien! LOL.
Thats one less thing to be scared about. Even though I feel I have a mild case of crohns next to many that have it I just don't know about terming any crohns as being mild because it is a horriable painful disease that effects many.
I'm learning alot through my crohns I eat what I want and usually pay for it later because anything seems to set those gut cramps off. I've seen many thinking they were doing well then bam some thing underlying hits big its not good.
Its like sitting on the edge of your seat always. TC.
