  Hi All, had my appointment with surgeon  today and guess what I GET THE REVERSAL DONE IN NOV!!!!!!!! I'am so chuffed when i walked in he had this big grin on his face and said  "you look like a new woman" he examined my stomach and said all has healed but he wants me to put at least another stone on in weight ,seeing him again in oct to discuss the op i can't stop smiling!! i  have never been so excited about being operated on!!!(i know that sounds sad but i really hate having this thing and want to be the old bev again) just thought i'd share my good news i can now see light at the end of the tunnel. Diagnosed with crohn's at 13 now 42
resection, right hemi 1993 In remmision from 93 till last sept with no meds or docs
2 resections small bowel  and fistula jan 09 and given temp stoma. B12 shots,iron syrup,loperimide, Back on citalopram 40mg (for Anxiety)No maintainance drugs.

I was confused for a minute when you said you were "chuffed", wasn't sure if that was mad or happy:) Glad that it does mean happiness for you and that you will get your reversal soon. WooHoo for you!!

Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, Calcium  w/Vit D, and Xanax as needed for my anxiety.  Resections in 2002 and 2005. Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, and Anxiety. Currently my Crohns is in remission, but my joints are going crazy!

Hoooray!!!! You sound wonderful even just in the written word!
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
