OK I have another question. I went to the Doc and he gave me a med to put on and as usual I had a reaction. So , I went back to the Doc and he gave me shots into the wounds OMG... It hurt something awful!! He assured me that it would help but nothing . . and actually got a new little one started after the injection. It is worse. Now here is the second part. The first time I went threw this , when the pain would get real bad my big toe turns purple. The Doc had test done and the circulation and pulse are good. The tip of that toe hurts bad too. Anyone have a clue?? It is back again and I find it is usually when the pain is bad. I work these twelve hour shifts and it just kills me on the nights I have to work. Seems to me the Doctor I am seeing really does not care but the burning is just awful. I do not want to sound like a complainer here , but has anyone ever heard of this purple toe thing? Thanks you all!!!

the blood is not circulating in a proper way and its like the tissue is dying...usually in my dads case he was put some type of medicine..but he takes an aspirin a day to thin out his blood..luckily the body is able to regrow the tissue..and the situation gets better...unless this is not the case and its reynaud's syndrome..which is common with those with auto immune disorders..some feel Crohn's is one..i would go to a hemotologist and get bloodwork done to make sure you don't also have Lupus...good luck

How are your uric acid levels ? that pain in the big toe can also be , Gout .
If we would read the secret history of our enemies,we would find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.
