Hello my CD friends:
I have now been on Lialda 2.4 g for nearly 5 months after being diagnosed with CD in March 2009. Following my colonoscopy, I also recently had my capsule endoscopy done, which showed negative on any effect on my small intestine. My doctor has asked me to continue my medications.
I'm doing well and the only changes I'm noticing are soft stools (not loose) when I go once daily, occassional weird sensations in my stomach (not debilitating, just odd sensations) and night sweats a few times. What do I make of these symptoms?
I have always been a reasonably careful eater, hence I haven't made any major modifications to my diet. I'm trying my best to stop projecting into the future, and trying to live as best as I can in the pesent.
Otherwise, so far, I'm able to work and live quite well.

I'm glad you are doing well. I didn't see a question. What feedback were you looking for?

The night sweats are probably due to a low grade fever that spikes at night. At a guess, you are taking your meds in the morning and they have worn off by night. Weird sensations in your stomach? Probably a battle between your gut and the bacteria in there trying to see who gets more of what you ate.
