Are you looking for a fashion bracelet, or one for medical purposes incase something happened to you?  I have quite a few fashion bracelets that have purple beads and beads with letters that spell out Crohns and have a ribbon on it and such.  I havent seen a medical one but I'm sure if you google it you would find something.

If you're looking for an awareness bracelet, CCFA has a purple Livestrong-type bracelet that says "got guts" on it. I have gotten several over the years because I registered with them to do a walk a couple years ago. I'm sure you can get them online as well.

I have the "got guts" one. I got the adult ones. You had to get packs of 15 I think. I got them a few years ago. Unfortunately, it took a while to get them because they were out of stock and then when they came they were too big for my wrist. I am only 5' and about 120 lbs with a small bone structure, just letting you know if that is the type you want, you might want to order the kids ones.

I have 5 left. If you send me your address this morning I can mail them out by regular mail today. They should be able to go in a regular envelope without a problem, even to the west coast I would think it would only take a few days. I am in New England by the way.

Zanne: I would love one too and I'm willing to pay you for it.  If they haven't all been dubbed yet, let me know and I'll send you some $ and give you my address.

tsitodawg:  Are you one of the BYU football players?  I ask because I am a BYU football fan.  The fun part (being sarcastic) is that I work for the University of Utah and so I have that thrown in my face every football season.  It really sucks!!

ISF13+,

I'd be happy to send you one. Just send me your address. My email is in my profile. No need for payment, I'm happy to find people who want them.

Zanne, I’d love a bracelet if you have a spare! But I live in Australia so I’d understand if you didn’t want to post it, it might be too expensive?

I would have sent you one, no problem, but I am out now. I did find one more hiding in the back of the drawer, but it was first come first served, I am sorry. If I find any more in my cleaning efforts, you will be the first one the list. :)

tsitodawg,

Wow!  as you said, who would have thought?  Nice to have a fellow BYU fan on the forum.  Thanks for all the good come-backs.  I'll be needing them soon.  I had season tickets for years, loved the games.  My ex-husband kept the seats after our divorce and my new husband isn't a sports dude so now I'm stuck watching the games on TV.  Oh well, such is life.  I wish you the best of luck with the upcoming season (Rah, Rah, Rah, Rah, Rah, Goooo Cougars!).  And as for the crohns, if you're the one with the disease, I'm sorry you have to be a part of all the yuk that goes along with it.  You probably know who Rolf Benirschke is from the San Diego Chargers?  He came to our support group a couple of months ago and told us his story of how he got diagnosed with Crohns and his field goal kick following his ostomy, etc.  It was a great story.  Look him up on the internet sometime if you haven't already read his story.  Take care.

You don't have your e-mail address listed so this is the only way I can get a hold of you.  The crohns support group I go to actually got started by a couple of ladies who live in Ogden.  We meet at Davis Hospt usually on the 3rd Thursday of every month.  I'll let you know when the next one is.  Bring your wife if you come.  We all bring our support person.  It's good for them to be part of it and hear from others what we go through.  Thanks again for the jokes, love them.

The CCFA will send you one if you join.  At first, they were sending them to me everytime they were asking me to join, so I think I have a couple extras, too.  Then they stopped sending them and said I could get one if I joined (thanks, I have enough now).  I have worn mine everyday since I was diagnosed in 2005.  They hold up very well.  You can buy them in lots online and they usually sell them at CCFA events, if there are any in your area.

I was just on the website and they appear to be back in stock. $15 for 10-packs that say "Cure Crohn's & Colitis."

Pups, it's so funny that you just posted because I was in the process of trying to email a couple of people who asked Zanne after she ran out.  I have three...I know that phoebe and atctackett asked Zanne previously, but I can send you the last one.  Phoebe and atctackett, I will email you both also, in case you still need/want one.  I'll email you, Pups.  Thanks.

Pups, I don't see your email address in your profile.  Phoebe's either.  Let me go in and add my email address to my profile and you both can email me your mailing address.

There is a company that makes a lot of different awareness bracelets. I wanted a custom bracelet celiac/crohn's mix and they were able to make it for me...nice people. Here is the site http://www.vaeldesigns.com. There is a section for awareness bracelets.
