First I just want to say thank you for the prayers. (I strongly believe in prayer)
I didnt go to the ER, I called my doctor. He said again that he thinks its just the Crohns and to come in and get my first dose of Humira.
So I did that yesterday.  The injections went ok. I did not see the doctor yesterday, just went to the office and got help with the first injection. My doc wasnt even in the office from what I was told. Even the Remicade nurse(who was helping me) wasnt comfy giving the Humira with such a high fever but it was doctors orders. I had no reaction to the injections, not even site redness or anything. But yet again, I got home and had a fever of 103.4. My mom made me take something to help the fever and I went to bed at 5:30 and slept until this morning. I woke up through the night, once sweating, once freezing, and it went on like that. My doc said call in a week if it doesnt go away, but if it gets that high again i will just go to the ER!!!
Even though the Humira didnt cause a reaction, I feel wierd....is that normal? kind of like I have a jolt of electricity flowing through my body, and I also was having HORRIBLE stomach pain last night through the night, with no BM, just pain.
Again, thank you for your replies and prayers!!!

Although you've already started this new thread, you might want to "copy & paste" your message to your original posting, as everyone is wondering what happened to you!  We have all been concerned (and I still am, considering you went ahead with Humira injections even though you had a fever)!  Also, many have posted additional messages on your original posting that you may not have read.

Take care, and please continue to let us know (on your original posting) how you're doing OK?

I am astounded that any doctor would not urge you to go to the ER immediately with a fever over a 105. And knowing your high white blood cell count! And then to give Humira on top of it!?!? You still have a fever that is too high. Please, please go see another doctor ASAP just to confirm you are being treated correctly. Better safe than sorry.
Diagnosed with Crohn's in early 2007.  Several peri-rectal abscesses and two fistulae with setons.  Allergic to Remicade and Humira.  Currently on 6MP, and vitamins D and B-12.

I agree! You really need a second opinion. I am not on Humira or Remicade but I know from all the posts here that you are never supposed to take them with an infection. It should have been a warning to you that the nurse wasn't comfortable giving it. PLEASE get a second opinion. If this is a GI, try calling your primary. It is your life! Don't be worried about stepping on toes or insulting the doc.
27 Year old married female.  Graduated law school this year and waiting for results of the bar exam.  Start a new job sometime in September.  Diagnosed w/ CD 4 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD. I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid. For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn. I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13. I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium. Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night.  I take xanax prn for situational anxiety (aka no easy bathroom access).

Please go to the ER, or at the very least, talk to another doctor about it. That high of a temperature is very dangerous, and can cause brain damage if ignored. You most definitely have an infection.
Diagnosed with CD July 2007
Currently on Remicade, Imuran, probiotics, folic acid, multivitamin.

I've been on Humira for a couple of years now.  Other than the extreme pain at the time of the injection, I haven't had any weird side effects.  Are you sure your weird symptoms are from the Humira?
