cry  quickly, i just wanted to put this out there - not sure if what i have is a stricture, fustial, or absess... pain at night and early a.m. its been for several wks now. going to see GI on sept 14 feels like i have razor blades stuck up my butt. or like shards of glass up there. the pain is tollerable but not good - think its getting worse. what should i do?
taking tylenol for pain & afraid to eat - i am a skinny already and i don't want to loose any more weight. i am about 109lbs. i'm sure the wind could blow me away.
don't think its an absess...had these symptoms before....CT scan proved nothing was there...maybe my rectum or illeum is infected? too many BM!!
am i loosing the small peice that i have left of my colon??
i am afraid cry .....crohn's is not fun! i am so tired, no sleep, too many accidents, will it ever end?
praying for a good night's sleep and a happy bottom!! :o]
1998: Colitis - removal of colon, temp. ostomy 10 mths.
2000-07: disease free & doing well with j pouch.
2007-09: rectal pain & discomfort, loss of bowl control. diagnosed with Crohns March '09 currently on: Emtec, Azathioprine [Imarun] & Remicade. Med History: steroids, predizone, cipro, loperamide [imodium], gravol, previcid, cholestramine, xylocaine jelly, zinc oxide creme, etc.

Hey Sofee,

I am wondering if you might have a fissure. Its a small tear in your rectum that is hard to heal because it keeps getting irritated every time you are having to go. Maybe you can put a call into the doc and see if there is some cream or something you can use to help heal it.

Crohn's Disease for over 33 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, Calcium  w/Vit D, and Xanax as needed. Resections in 2002 and 2005. Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, and Anxiety. Currently my Crohns is in remission, but my joints are going crazy!
