That the sicker you get, the more easily annoy or upset you get?

Oh yeah!! When I am feeling bad, I get really irritated very easily. Its not a trait I am happy with having, because normally I am a pretty easy going person.

Whats going on at that time to get you so irritable? You know I was going to say also, since I have been diagnosed one trait I absolutely hate about myself, especially when sick, is I have zero patience of any kind. I am like a fussy tazmanian devil, just pissy as heck.

To a certain point...but once it gets really bad I just kind of give up and go with the flow haha. Just kind of 'whatever.' attitude.

I think on bad days just coping is all consuming, any bovine waste on top of a bad day with Crohn's is enough to make even the most positive of people feel a little defeated.
Here's hoping tomorrow is better for you navy.

Yes, yes, yes. I can't stand myself lately. I am trying to think more positive and be more grateful. There are way too many good things in my life to be upset and ill tempered. I am trying to walk it out too. Yes that helps.

I remember when I was a kid, my dad (who also has crohn's) was grumpy A LOT. I always felt like I had to walk around on eggshells. He still has a very short fuse. It takes very little to irritate him. Thankfully, I at least didn't inherit that! However, I do at times feel easily irritated, and it's generally because some part of my body isn't working right.

That is exactly it, anywhere I have metal in my body is very swollen and hot, which means we have a storm coming in.

OH yeah when I get mad I just cry at the drop of a hat. And when the pain is bad, I change into this mean person with no patience. Its hard for other people to understand. I like it better when I just cry and dont say anything so no one's feelings get hurt. We always hurt the people we love the most.

Definitely. I get nearly bipolar when I'm feeling crappy.

Absolutely, that's probably why I don't get on here as much like I used to, and I don't know why because I miss you all LOL x

Depends - if its brain fog and fatigue, I just crawl into a hole. I don't want to be bothered for anything (probably a guy thing). Decisions get really hard. "Do you want tea with lunch?" takes a while to sort out. Lucky that this only happens once in a while.

That is so true!

Before I knew I had Crohn's, I had always been very straight forward and bold in my thinking. But now I am at the point where I am angry all the time and the most trival things set me off. In the past I could calm myself down but now I just want to shot or sleep (hence the name!).

When I first got diagnosed I was more optimistic about the whole thing but as I have got worse I have become so bitter and that fact I have become so bitter is making me even more bitter!

I feel like I can't win lol
