Well, my intermediate uveitis is getting worse and yesterday I noticed I can barely see through my left eye.  With my right eye closed, I can only make out vague shapes and you can forget about reading.  I can’t even tell that I’m looking at words, much less read them.

Has anyone here with Crohn’s-related uveitis had theirs progress to the point where they needed treatment?  What was your experience?  I had better than 20/20 vision before all this crap started.  I’m afraid my vision is going to deteriorate to the point of no return.  I’ll be seeing my eye doctor next week to have him check it out.

Meanwhile, I just passed my barely digested lunch and my abdominal pain is getting worse by the week.  I’ve definitely seen better moods.

NEXT WEEK! Uveitis is a medical emergency. You need to see a doctor now.

Assuming your vision is still good enough to read:

best of luck,

I agree with ozonehole - uveitis is an emergency. You need treatment ASAP. However, if you are currently being treated for the uveitis with eye medications, then you need to call the ophthamalogist's office and explain the worsening of your symptoms.
