hi, Im new here and was wondering if I could get some help on getting info for cymzia. Is anyone here on it? I looked it up and found out it has a black box warning along with remicade and humira. I have used both of them and have had no luck. I did ok with remicade but started experiencing some cloudiness which became worse with humira. I tend to have episodes of short term memory loss and a hard time concentrating. When I read, I cant even understand anything without having to read it a few times. My doctor told me 1% of humira patients experience these side effects and decided to switch me to cymzia. Even after stopping humira for 3 months I still feel the same way. I need to try something different but after reading more about cymzia, im not sure I want to try it.

Hi Johanna,

Sorry you're having such issues with meds. If you go to the resources page ( and search for Cimzia, there are links to at least three threads on the medication.

They are all pretty much the same medicine..and they do the same thing..but different medicines..are often..created in a diff manner..with other substances and such..they may not trigger..some of the same exact side effects of other medicines..lets look at it this way..its worth at least a try..if you hate can stop right?

Don't be shy to ask your pharmacist; they are the medication experts and know more about the medications than physicians do (that's their jobs!). Pharmacist's information is much more reliable that searching google...

Humira and Remicade caused me to experience numbing and tingling in my hands and forearms. I was taken off of both. Cimzia I believe is just like both.
