6mp causes hairloss?

my son just started losing his hair from the 6 mp he is taking. Has anyone else had this happen to them? thanks!

thank you!! He is on folic acid but we just started that last week. He's on the lowest dose of 6mp and we are hoping to either keep it that way or get him off of it completely. After reading some of the other 'diet' posts, I wanted to add that we are getting our son tested, as well as the rest of the family for food allergies. We just had our daughters results come back with dairy allergy Since we've all remained off dairy, everyone seems to be doing better.
