I have Crohns found out in april and from then until now I have been in and out of the hospital. I am taking Pentasa 500 mg. 8 a day. and Pred. 10mg. 6 times a day. This month I have been in and out of the hospital 3 times. A couple days ago I started haveing a burning feeling right above my belly button when ever I eat and drink something it gets worse. It burns so bad that I dont wanna even eat. Does anyone know what this could be? Do I need 2 go 2 the ER??? Thanks

I would think about going to the doc, maybe getting a ct? While it is not abnormal to have some burning pain with crohns the fact that is new and so severe that you do not want to eat is concerning that I would go to the doc.

Yes, go to your doctor ASAP!! If your doctor can not see you today, then go to the ER. If I read your message correctly then you are taking 60mg of prednisone per day and still having problems.
