Hi all,
I know I had 1 of these before all of my surgeries it was intestine to intestine fistula.  I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell if you have one of these (if there is certain pain etc assoc with this different from the typical CD pain) Mine was Dx via CT scan if i recall.  My last scope was Oct 2008 but recently I have not been doing the best I was just on Augmentin and I dont think I am suffering from C Diff but I have never had that before either.  I was tested for it before with my CD symptoms.
I have taken my Oxycodine HCL quick release pills with little to no avail.  I am leaving to go to RI on Sunday and am hoping I dont have a day like today where I squeeze my butt together and hobble to the toilet in hopes I dont mess myself.  I just took a lomotil and going to get a heating pad on my stomach my Humira is tomorrow I am a week overdue and 2 weeks ago I had to miss a dose as well for being sick.  I wonder if missing the 2 doses so close to each other is what is messing me up.  I get Medicade assistance for the remainder of my medicare part B here in OR so I dont want to have to see any of my old Dr's while in RI fearing I will lose the medicade.  I will be there thru the holidays and I flared my 1st time ever around the holidays so it is normal for me to flare a bit annually at this time not sure if it is psychosomatic or what  but it makes me dread the Holidays
Dx with Crohn's 1987, symptoms as early as 1984.
Temp iliostomy February 2007, reversed June 2007, Ovarian cysts, migraines, allergies (incl food allergies) , oral allergy syndrome (diff than true food allergies), Asthma, Gall Bladder removed 1999, Inguenal hernia 1987

Augementin caused horrible diarrhea in me and took a few days to ease up after I got off it. More than likely that is what is causing you your explosive D.

I was told the best test to diagnose a fistula was the small bowel follow thru. I am not sure I understand, what kind of pain you are having. Is the cramps from the explosive D or something else. If you are still on the Augmentin, I would suggest going off it.

Good luck!
