Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before, but was curious what made you think of your screen name? I know some are obvious. I chose mine because i have crohns and i'm a lass (female) not because im an old female!!!!! turn Bev x
Diagnosed with crohn's at 13 now 42
resection, right hemi 1993 In remmision from 93 till last sept with no meds or docs
2 resections small bowel  and fistula jan 09 and given temp stoma.  reversal 1st week of Jan. Meds:Pentasa 500mg 3x day,  B12 shots, every 3 months, iron syrup,loperimide,folic acid,  citalopram 60mg (for Anxiety.)

I used to fly OH-58D helicopters in the Army until CD. I'm still active duty but can no longer fly with this disease.

Colozal (750mg): 3 pills 3xdaily
Cortifoam - 1 nightly
6MP - currently at 100mg and waiting for response......

Years ago, I had a calendar hanging over the computer. It had some coupon for Fram oil filters. I made up the pim part.
Diagnosed with CD July 2007
Currently on Remicade, Imuran, probiotics, folic acid, multivitamin.

Mine was used for the sake of anonymity. By the time I didn't care about using my real name most people knew me as Lmills so it's there so stay I suppose.
Diagnosed with Crohn's in May of 2008.
Currently taking: Prednisone, pentasa, omeprazole, and humira. Using probiotics and a multivitamin.
Learning how to live again.

mines because I feel sick a whole lot but I'm really lucky in lots of other ways :) I'm not too creative...

currently taking 40mg prednisone, then imuran or remicade when i taper
feeling scare about side effects but will be happy to feel better :)

mines because I'm little, got Crohn's and am from the UK. Kind of unimaginative really, had to think of a username quick and it was best I could come up with lol.

Gumby was my nickname in college. It came from my inability to play sports (very Klutzy) and my overall goofiness. It made me remember happier times:) Now I'm a 51 year old lady...Gumby is a long lost nickname. When I joined the forum, I was missing my healthier days.
50 yr. old female, diagnosed with Crohn's in small intestine and terminal ileum Sept-Oct. 2007. Also have IBS, and had Salmonella Dec. '07
currently taking Pentasa- 4 500mg pills per day, Metamucil and colace for constipation, probiotics

33 year old female
CD of Terminal Illeum and Rectum Diagnosed 12/04
Unable/Unwilling to use immunosuppressents due to Melanoma history in 2000.
Illeocolonic Resection 1/08  (18 inches of terminal illeum, illeocecal valve, right colon and appendix)
Current Meds: Pentasa, Fosomax, Iron, Vitamin b12 injections, Vicodin as needed, Entocort 6mg for maintanence.
November'09 colonoscopy shows reoccurance at anastamosis and active disease in sigmoid and rectum

B-12injections,Pentasa,Loperamide,Entocort,6mp,Hydrochlorothiazide,8 week
Remicade,vitamin-D,Fluconazole.More over the counter vitamin-D. Remission since surgery and 5-years, of 8-week Remicade.

Someone here warned us to be careful so I stopped using the one with my name in it and chose heatmiser because I always liked him in that xmas show and I lived where it was really cold and hated it.
Dxd CD in 2003. Scope Aug/09 shows UC.
Meds: Colazal, prilosec, darvocet

I was small for my age when I was a kid, still called DinkyDee by my relatives.
Diagnosed with CD 3 years ago.  Refused to take meds until recently started Colazal. 
 Currently on Prednisone 40mg. Tapering down, now on 20mg.
Colazal 3xday, Antioxidant strips
 Off of the Prednisone!!

Dx'd w/ IBS and CD in 2002. Three abscesses that are now fistulas, with three setons!
On: 6MP, Zoloft, Cimzia (working so well, I'm on Miralax too!), folic acid, b12
Tried: LDN- Did nothing good, Remicade- allergic, Humira- no reaction

Dx in 2005 with Crohns after a Hysterectomy. Re-section in 2006...came apart so got to do it again! Frequent Kidney stones and Shingles... a new present as of 08-09 Diabetes Type 2. Total of 12 surgerys.
Imran, Asacol, Colestid, Bentyl, Lamotil, Paxil, Nexium, Probiodicts, Vit D, Folic Acid, Lots of Potassium, Fish Oil, up to 6 Immodium a day. Oh, and one Giant Pill holder!

Habs is the nickname for my favorite hockey team...and no I do not live in Montreal, but have always been a fan! I didn't realize that it confused people becuase I thought no one followed hockey like we do and that everyone would think I was a guy
nanners...are you a New Englander...your pronunciation makes me think of a Maine accent!
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa [until I surrender to the bigger meds]
