last nights CSI featured a old guy with CD.. he had methotrexate on his medicine counter but i didnt see what else was there.. when they did his autopsy, they showed some intestines that were all ulcerated.  pretty cool. and finally a mention of CD that was not derogetory. the two drs explained that it was a painfull disaease that was pretty debilitating. smilewinkgrin

Today I was watching Regis & Kelly and Kelly talked about how she went last night to support the CCFA. She showed a book that CCFA put out. I was impressed.

Of fer crying out loud. These CSI folks are more up on things than the medical shows. CSI Vegas just did a show where one of the characters claimed to have OSA (obstructive sleep apnea), altho I didn't get to see the entire show and don't know how good a job they did w/the subject. If the guy really did have OSA and narcolepsy he had the extremes as near as I could tell from the little I saw of the show.

CrohnieToo, that was the same guy who had Crohn's. I thought they did a good job with it too.

I feel a whole lot more the way I do now than I did a little while ago.

I'm glad to hear it's being represented more faithfully to the public. I hate that anyone has shown it as a cop out at all, but I hope this will help people realize that we're not making excuses.
