Hey guys,

It's been a while since I blogged last.

Okay so I had a resection in Feb. I have not felt like I have went into remission yet. I know this sounds crazy, but i haven't. I have been having episodes everyday, maybe 1-3 times. Where it feels like the food is trying to sqeeze through. At times it drops me to my knees, in the fetal position. It will only last maybe 5 mins at a time. I had a colonoscopy last week. He said everything looked fine. So he gave me Hyoscyamine. Even though in the past this has not worked. I atempted to use this medication once again. Still no relief. So I called him back. I had my CT scan a couple hours ago. He said maybe the colonoscopy didn't catch everything and maybe there is active disease.

So now I have to sit and waitmad

I feel like people think I'm crazy, but I know pain.

Just b/c I am young doesn't mean I am a seeker.

I've had Crohns since I was 16 years old, I'm currently 23. I have had 3 resections, and mulpitle other surgeries to try to help my Crohns. I have had 3 weeks TOTAL of remission, you are not crazy, remission is a hard thing to accomplish. My GI has begged me to go on disability for years now, but I refuse to because I don't want to look like as you put it a "seeker", you are hurting, you are not a seeker.

Do you feel like you are crazy, or is your GI making you feel that way?

Maybe it's time to look into getting another Dr.

Next Surgery: Nov. 20th to Take Down Abdominal Fistula!!!

I don't feel like I'm crazy. It's just he acts like I don't know what I am talking about. B/c my colonoscopy came back normal. He was willing to do the cat scan to see if something was missed. When I called after my colonoscopy and told them I was in pain and that the medicine wasn't working. The nurse called me back and replied well the Dr said he isn't going to give you a narcotic with your condition. I felt like saying, DID I EVER ask for that?? I was just calling to get it solved. I am a mother of 2, and I am a nurse myself. I know what runs through the doctors minds and the nurses. When someone young like my self calls about pain. It's not fair that this whole world gets sterotyped b/c of screw ups that take advantage. UGH. I missed venting on here. If y'all can't tell. lol
