Hello! I am so excited about this site! I don't really know anyone with Crohn's, so I believe this site will be great for me! I am a 31 year old female just recently married. I was diagnosed with Crohn's back in July 2006. I was on Colazal and was doing pretty well. I went to the ER the week before Christmas in horrible pain. I knew something wasn't right. I had a colonoscopy and Barium Enema. They found I had 2 fistulas and an abscess. After a week stay in the hospital all my doctors agreed to try Remicade before doing surgery. I have had one treatment (12/22) and I go for my second tomorrow (1/5). Hoping it works and I can avoid surgery!!! Just wanted to introduce myself :-)

Hope this is a better year for you.

I feel a whole lot more the way I do now than I did a little while ago.

Hi mv4au! Welcome, you sound a lot like me! I'm 30 recently married and take Colazal, which was helping tremendously until about 2 months ago. I've gotten so much good advice, and it's so nice to have a place to vent and ask questions when you don't always have someone to talk to 'in real life'
Hope you're feeling better soon!
