Hi everyone.
I am a new member and just had ileostomy surgery two weeks ago. I have had Crohn's disease for 18 years and have tried every med in the book. I reached a point where I had no choice but surgery, so here I am. I am adjusting to the bag as well as I could, I guess, but need help. The contents of the ostomy smells SO BAD when I am emptying it, the odor engulfs the house. I read on the forum history that some people have used tic tacs, which I am going to try, but I see there are many different types of odor eliminators online and wasn't sure if any work better than others? There are tablets, drops, sprays, everything! I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
Thank you in advance.
