I take LDN and it is known to cause or raise the chances of Candida and Florastor can help with that.
ChronnieMan, are you sure about
this? I have understood that candida albicans INTERFERES with LDN (not that LDN causes candida), and that most Americans likely have some level of candida overgrowth, therefore it's important to address the overgrowth if you are on LDN. Additionally, I see nothing on the Florastor website nor in the information about
Saccharomyces boulardii that says it addresses candida. Just thought I'd pass this on! Maybe I'm missing something!
I've read where some doctors recommend Florastor to patients that have Candida overgrowth and other conditions. Here is some information on the probiotic in Florastor and candida is inlcuded: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saccharomyces_boulardii
Also, on the LDN & IBD yahoo group (possibly other sites) it is shown that LDN triggers Underlying Candidiasis.
