So does anyone know if it is normal to still have pain, a bit of watered down blood and drainage, and sometimes a little bit of swelling 3 months after the fistulotomy?
Also how did others find the colonoscopy prep and procedure? I am kinda scared because my bum still isnt quite healed.sad

I had a fistulotomy about 3 years ago.  It never really healed to be honest.  Had a lot of drainage and blood etc.  Then I was put on Remicade which was a miracle for me.  After the 3rd. infusion my fistula closed and thank god and has never re-opened.
With regards to the colonoscopy, the prep is not very pleasant but not the worst thing I have drank.  The colonoscopy itself is painless ( well in my case they put me to sleep).
Best of lucksmile
