In the beginning when I was put on 6mp I would get some nausea and a little fatigue. He told me to take it first thing in the morning, the side effects made for a long day. But then I switched it to bedtime and I had no further problems. I did have hair loss with this med, but by taking more Folic Acid and if you can tolerate it some Biotin will help ease the hairloss. Its not like hairloss from chemo, it just sheds a little more. This is a great med to help get you into remission and keeping you there. It takes about
3-4 months to reach full efficacy, but we have folks on this very forum are taking it and have great success, some even for up to 10 years. Also, be sure to get your regular blood tests done too. Good luck and I hope I was of some help.
