Methotrexate and side effects that mimic Crohn's

Two of the side effects from Methotrexate include diarrhea and mouth ulcers. Those are also symptoms of Crohn's disease. If you are experiencing those symptoms, how do you know if they're from the medication or if they're a flare up?

Although i hv gotten mouth soresi usually attribute that to my anxiety/ panic......not everyone has experiences with the listed side effects ..just my opinion

I've never had either problem from Metho...I guess if it doesn't help with the D after so long then it's probably not working so dr's know to discontinue it.
Dianogsed with Crohns: At 16 years old. 23 years old now.
Surgeries:3 Bowel Resections, Gallbladder Removed, 3 Abscess Cleanings, Fistula Repair
Current Meds: Methorexate, Vitamin B12 (injections), Nexium.
Next Surgery: None.
