Okay I've been living with Crohn's now for 5 years. I have accepted certain things but am questioning my doc lately. In Nov I was given an xray for severe left ab pain and no bowel sounds. They called me 2 days later and said you have ileus, lay off the pain meds. I was like you haven't prescribed pain meds for over 7 months...um hello?
and thats all they did. So in the last 3 weeks, still having that come and go pain, and now vomiting every other day at least one meal. Phenergan, which I hate because of the drowsiness,. is now my best friend again. Would you recommend me changing docs? I don't feel like they even cared about
the constant constipation (impaction...UGH!), sometimes I have to use enemas, the pain, and the vomiting.
But the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted ever perish.
