Ivy to answer your question to me, I do have some out of pocket expenses, but they really aren't bad "for me". I pay $20 when I see the doc, $5 for generic prescripions, $15 for brand name prescript
ions, $250 deductible if I am hospitalized or need surgery. My insurance is a HMO which usually is more affordable. I personally prefer my HMO group as all my doctors are connected thru electronic medical records so my GI can see what my Family doctor is doing and vice versa. Hope that helps.

Crohn's Disease for over 34 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, Calcium, Vit D, and Xanax prn. Resections in 2002 & 2005. Also diagnosed w/ Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, & Anxiety. Currently my Crohns is in remission, but my joints are going crazy!
