I am still being diagnosed, although I am taking 3000 mg of Pentasa and a very low dose of anti depressant (doc says this will help to relax in the evening), and 50,000 weekly vitamin D. It seems to be really working for me. More test results next week. I hope the Pormethus testing will be conclusive.

However my point is that this is such a great community. I mostly just read and do not post, but I am a little worried where all this is going and I always feel so much better knowing others have the same questions and concerns as me.

Again thanks to all

I am so glad to hear you are getting the support you need from fellow sufferer's at Healingwell. I am also glad to hear your meds are working and you are feeling better. Keep us posted on how your results come out. Good luck!

Glad to hear that you are still sticking around. Your signature says it all, 'still trying to figure this all out'.

My diagnosis came as a shock two years ago and I spent hours on the internet researching Crohns. I found about five forums, joined two but this is the only one I read now and has been a trememdous help and knowing others care. I know I read a lot before posting and took awhile to open up but hopefully you will feel comfortable in asking questions as they come.

Good luck with your test results!
