those are the hawaiann papaya's I neve but those. I buy the maradol or mexican papaya's. they also have been called carribean red. but there huge 2-5 lb's. when I eat them plain, I'll sprinkle with alittle salt then squeeze lime on. It brings out the flavor. so the brand name is either maradol or carribean red. but theycome from mexico. look for slight brownish or alitle orange in color, a little gren as well, slightly soft but not gooshi. I was at whole food when I started to eat them and their was a chef going thru the pile and I asked her the best way to tell a ripe one. she gave me a really good schooling in how to pick one out, now I'm a pro. I eat 2 a week. and those are about
2-4 lb's ea. If i ate hawaianns I would go broke, the big one's cost about
a buck a lb. maybe a little more. I spend about
$50 a month. so worth it for me. it is the best med I take by far.
