For those of you in countries that do not have our good old NHS, what happens?
Obviously if you have insurance then you are covered-but does your insurance come with your job? If it does and you change jobs do you then not get covered for pre-existing conditions? Does what you are able to receive depend on how much you (or your employer) pay in and what happens if you have no insurance because either you can't afford to or you never got around to applying for it etc, what happens then? Do you get like a basic treatment provided with possibily the cheapest drugs and not the more costly ones, or do some pay a higher premium to get the latest drugs available etc
How does it work?
I know people moan about our NHS but I can't imagine what it must be like for those that do not have it!
