I would first like to introduce myself. My name is Lisa i am 45 and i was diagnosed with crohns colitis 6yrs ago. I had resection surgery 3yrs ago and I have tried pentasa, prednisone, remicade, nulev and after surgery i have tried 6mp,asacol (went to asacol because I had a real hard time swallowing all the pills, they would get stuck) i usually have to crush a pill or take it with yogurt or something thick. I dont think i have ever experienced a remission. I would like to thank all of you, the information here has been a god send. Im now liviing without insurence and it is scary, My question is how much rearanging do they with your small intestine it feels like it is wrap around my bladder i cant pee when stuff is in that area and it causes severe cramping sometimes thanks for listening

I cannot answer your question specifically...but I did want to say "Welcome". As to your question...could be lots of stuff, but my first thought is adhesions, which can occur after surgery or as an artifact of inflammation...What did your docs say?...have you brought this up?

Hi there and welcome to the forums.
My guess would be adhesions, but it could be your intestines flip flopping and twisting which could be the cause of your pain.
I would get checked by your doctor though.
Good luck!
