I always make this when I'm doing bad..gets me through sometimes...Then I eat off it for a couple days...
I take chix breast maybe 2-3... throw them in a cake pan add one can of chicken broth and a cup of rice. Real White Rice! season it with salt, pepper, a little tyme and paprika and garlic powder. With Crohns..anything you can spice do it! cuz' everything you CAN have doesn't taste like anything! Let that cook covered for about an hour.
Then when it comes out..I put some rice in a bowl put a little butter and squeeze a 1/2 a lemon on it. It's alot of lemon but...it tastes really good when I don't feel good. Then I buy heinz chicken gravy...already made cuz' i don't feel like makin' my own. Put a little of that on. I don't always eat the chicken..depends on the day..but it's there incase I want it later.
Anyway, I call it lemon chicken...funny now my kids ask for it. I always think there crzy cuz' they can have anything. Grass is always greener.

1 can of chix broth
heinz homestyle chicken gravy in a jar..like a dollar.
spices...tyme, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika..probably about 1 tsp each.
