I'm off to see my GI this morning and I'm a bit worried about
this appointment. My liver function tests have been slowly creeping up, so he's been doing monthly blood work and I'm going in to discuss. I pretty sure this is going to be the end of the road for me and my 6MP after 12+ years. But on top of that I have had some random symptoms that I was a bit concerned about
so I did some googling over that last few days. I have a metallic smell to my stool more often than not, blood loss? and I have whole body itchiness, and just really fatigued. Individually these things are not huge, but when I researched one, they all came up as symptoms of problems with the liver. I'm concerned that the high liver values have done some real damage to my liver and I may be looking at something more than just the fatty liver I was diagnosed with years ago. I just dread the testing and I'm not sure what my next medication option will be. I hate the unknown. At least I should have an idea of what is going on by later today.
I could just use some positive thoughts sent out into the great wide world today! Thanks!

Managing with strict low residue diet, keeping symptoms to a minimum. All test show small amount of ulceration, still have occasional blockages. But still have a great time with my 2 daughters and husband!
