I just received my order for George's Aloe Vera liquid in the mail. I ordered this on a tip from a friend. Wow. It has no sour taste, no bitterness whatsoever. In fact, it tastes like water. My 10 yr. old gave it the thumbs up. Directions say to drink 2 oz, twice daily.  Has anyone else here tried aleo to help with Crohn's inflammation?  Any luck?  The brand I have is George's. I got it from amazon, but see that it is available on lots of other supplement websites too.  Is this too good to be true...that it tastes like water?  My son has reflux, so I'm planning to give it to him also.

I am interested in the product your talking about. I just put up a post at 3 this morning regarding DigestaCure which I believe is aloe vera. While I am sitting here writing this I actully see DigestaCure and Aloe Vera drinks ect... on the right of my screen next to the post. I want to feel better so bad and enjoy my life again. I am so scared of the medications the doctors are recommending because of the side effects. Can you please tell me more about the product you bought and a website I can go to read about it. Thank You

I have no experience with this, but I have heard alot of people try it, but unfortunately without any success. Maybe if someone has it work for them, they will be along soon.

I haven't tried digestaqure but i have tried other brands. I am not telling anyone here to try or not try it, just do the research. When you go to research you will also find that the aloe companies all come from Florida and they go out of business every couple of years come back as a different company. Somethings work for some people and don't work for others.  All these aloe companies rely on customer feedback, they will even go as far as joining a forum and writing a fake post.
They may even spell a few words wrong and say things that are totally unrelated to what people with UC experience.
Then you call up and sure enough the representative used to have UC and knows what you are experiencing.  It's the same BS. You will get a packet with the pills that includes a low residue type diet with a anti-diarrhea protocol.
    Just a little buyer beware.

i have had aloe recommended to me from several alternative type doctors. i cannot say i've noticed anything from using it, but then i can say the same for almost everything i've ever tried. i have used george's and a few other brands. the anolin, which is what gives aloe juice its distinct taste and mild laxative effect, is removed from georges. i prefer lilly of the valley because it is less processed. there are other ones that are even better, but now you're paying over $20 USD and that gets expensive.

anyhoo, stick with it for a few months and let us know how it goes.
