I am a 30 year old male in Western New York. I was diagnosed with Crohn's in 2000, and after two years of Asacol and diet it went into remission. Since November 2009 my symptoms have returned, and with great aggression. My GI ordered a full battery of tests and concluded my terminal ilium is narrowed to less than a centimeter due to scar tissue. I went through Prednisone, Enticort, with no effect. Now I'm on full bore Darvocet for pain until I can start Cimzia next week.

Anyway, I'm glad to be a part of this forum, so far I have learned a lot from reading.

Welcome to the board! Crohn's disease does suck, though... :(
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.
