Hi there,
I would like to know if tehre is someone takinh Humira.
I had my 6 first injections and for my surprise I think I'm getting worst.
I was not having abdominal pain and since yesterday I am in pain...
Did someone had this kind of experience?

Welcome to healingwell Adrilima!
Do you think it was the injections themselves or medication, because you will not have to take 6 injections at once anymore. It can sometimes set off abdominal spasms and cause soreness at the injection site. But I think calling your doc might be a good idea, given that it sounds like you just start this medication. Are you having any other symptoms? I developed the lupus syndrome that can happen with remi and humira, but this is not normal (and my pain was in my bones).
Take care,

Hello, and welcome to healingwell.

I am on Humira.  I started in August 2009.
I noticed it was working within a month, but, it can take several months before you notice it working.

I am not real sure how to explain it myself.
When I started taking Humira, it is almost as if my CD said no way, I am going to fight this stuff, Humira is not going to control me.  So I seemed to get worse, before my CD finally accepted it, and I got better.

It almost seems to still do this to me now, the day I do the shot is hard, I have problems.  The day after the shot, I am better.

Yesterday I was doing well, I was doing wonderful, then I did a shot, and I had pain, inflammation, nausea, burning, lots of bowel noise, could not eat.  Woke up this morning feeling great, no nausea, no pain, I dunno really.

Hope this helps you.
