just to let you know if you use DK's book I really suggest you call him. I went on a jucie fast and really messed up my colon by doing it. What i did was use carrot juice. Carrots are full of sugar and as I had a lot of candida the fast made the candida populate, it made the bleeding worse. If you are to do the fasts give him a ring and let him guide you. He costs a lot of money but his method works for a lot of people. Also if you want to speak to someone who has used him I think Healthybun on the rawfoodsupport.com web page used him. she could give you some good advice. I only use green juices for fasts now and i get into remmision strait away with them. Im now also using a Gerald Green diet which is bacially the scd diet but it limits the sugars. that way candida has nothing to feed on.

I did the raw diet for 6 months. I did see some good improvement but i could not stop the bleeding. I now do this anti-candida diet and it got me into remission a lot faster. So do be careful with raw, only becuase of the fruit. if you are bleeding you may need guidence to limit the candida.

any way. at present this diet is working better for me than the raw one. but all my veg is raw of course and i use alot of green juice as well. I miss the fuit though. :( oh well

well thats my suggestion dont' do the fasts with out guidence. phone David. :)
