My Crohn's disease is concentrated in the lower part of the colon. I also have some minor erythema (inflammation) in the anal canal. After a BM I usually have some leakage. Its much better than it used to be, but still there 95% of the time.
As of yet, I have not had an abscess or fistula (knock on wood). Is this considered peri-anal crohns? Thanks guys.

PS - I hate Crohn's.

I would say yes, but I'm not a gastroenterologist. I have peri-anal crohn's and your symptoms are similar to mine although I have some absecesses and fistulae. Not real fun.

DX with distal Crohn's colitis Oct 2007, predominantly in rectum
Colozal and Canasa for 2+ years - developed an intolerance
6MP - elevated LFTs after 100mg, no effect after 9 months
Currently: Remicade (Nov '09), and Paleo Diet. Not quite remission, but so much better!
