Turns out I was not suffering from a bacterial overgrowth after all. I just returned from my scope and there was no active disease however the doctor found a descending colon stricture just below the splenic flexure. He was able to dilate and make it to the ileum with no other problems. I didn't get a chance to speak to him yet just have a copy of th e report. This explains the upper belly blasting and other weird symptoms I was having. Does the dilatation keep the stricture away in the large bowel or will i need surgery at some point? I am getting married in 3 months and going to Fiji on my honeymoon shortly after so surgery is not going to be an option. tongue

Good news is the humira is still working 3 years strong, I suppose.

I think they can dialate more than once. So if you start having probs then they will probably try to dialate again, unless it keeps closing up, then you might end up in surgery. Hugs!
