BIG HUGS your way Gail.

I hope all goes well with surgery, and you can move on to the knee and feel all put back together again soon.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm really, really sorry to hear about that, Nanners... Man, it's not fair that you can't seem to catch a break.... Try and stay positive... *Hugs* At least, it's gotten detected.. and hopefully, getting the tumor removed will leave you 100% cancer-free if it is cancer... which I hope it isn't... You really don't deserve to be having this much trouble...

Nanners,

I am glad they found this tumor early and that what ever it is you are having it removed quickly. I am so sorry this has happened and I will email you from my new email this morning.

You know you have my prayers and support so be brave and keep talking to everyone as it will help you. I know your hubby must be very worried and right by your side as he is a good man.

Gentle, loving hugs,

Kitt

I first off want to say a "BIG THANK YOU" to all of you. Its no wonder that I love each of you so much. You are all as much family to me as is my own flesh and blood are.

Surprisingly I had no problems sleeping lastnight. I think since I saw the GI on Tues I had been really tense, more than I realized. My wonderful husband, who massages some part of my body every single night, rubbed me down really good, and I just passed out. I think many of you are right, I am glad I caught it early, and I am sure the results will be good.

It just sucks that I have to have this surgery. I really liked the Urologist I saw though. I had researched the Urologists available, and he was the one I liked the most, as he has alot of experience with issues like mine, and the laproscopic/robotic type surgery I will have. Most of the other Urologists specialty dealt more with Prostrate and other kidney issues. He happens to be going on vacation this next week, so I think it was a God thing that I got to see him so quickly and that the surgery will be done soon. He said if not for his vacation he would have tried to get me in sooner, but said I would get it done quickly so I could recover in time for the TKR. Very good bedside manner etc. So I think I am really blessed.

Again, thank you so much for your support, it means more than you will ever know.

Hugs

I am glad to hear you were able to get a good sleep last night. Your husband sounds wonderful, do you hire him out. LOL I will say some prayers that your tumor is benign.

My friend just had a total knee replacement about 6 weeks ago. She said the physical therapy was tough, (after her first appointment she told me even her eyes were sweating) but she now has a new lease on life. She is now making plans she wouldn't have dream of before the surgery.

Gail just to give you reason to beoptimistic, several years ago my brother had a chest xray for an incidental issueand a very similar massshowed up on hiskidney. Hehad no urological symptoms, but they proceeded to surgery on the same basis your urologist is approaching things. His was found to be a small, very early cancer, and he was assured that getting it out that early and at that size virtually assured a 100% cure. That has been almost five years and he is fine. His urologist told him that when they find those things at that stage -- usually quite by accident as in your case too -- the prognosis is excellent.
