Has anyone ever had a hida scan if so what happens?
                         Crohns Disease diagnosed 01, IBS diagnosed 01
                         right hemi colectomy 2008
                         Imuran, Allopurenol

Tish, I had one last fall and had my gall bladder removed afterward because it showed it was functioning at 1%. They give you an injection of a special dye and then do a slow scan that takes about 30 minutes. It was totally painless and I was happy to get rid of my gall bladder.

39, Dxd with Crohn's, Inflammatory Arthritis, IBS, Fibromyalgia, Depression, Anxiety, Asthma
Remicade, Methotrexate shots, Folic Acid, B-12 shots, Entocort on and off, Levbid, Cymbalta, Lexapro, Xanyx, Nexium, Singulair, Lunesta, Metoporol, pain meds as needed

I think they do a hide a scan on me and I know just where they hide it too...
