Hi folks.  My job has me traveling almost every week so I have not been on here much.  Miss everyone.
Of course with all the travel and some other stresses on the job, my CD is kicking up some.  I have been back on Questran/Prevalite for over a month now.  I always was and have been recently good with one packet a day.  This past week, I am still making sprints to the bathroom during the day.
How many packets do you use a day.  Doc said I could do two.  I just stuck with one becasue it always worked before AND I do not want to bind myself up too much.
Dx'd '90 (emergency rupture), symptoms ignored long before that, '03 fistulas and bad flagyl reactions, B12 weekly, Pentasa, cholestyramine, iron and vitamin supplements.
Prepare for the future, but live in the present

I was told 2 a day but stick to 1 as that is enough but would up it if things changed. I tend to have it before my evening meal too as that's when I eat a lot of veg and its the biggest meal too.
Diagnosed in 2005 after many years of wrong diagnosis (Gastric Migraines, IBS etc). One resection emergency surgery 3 months after diagnosis due to blockage.
Just taking Questran (colestyramine) with cranberry juice daily and the occasional immodiums now (I have them in every bag).

I was told to take 2 a day but 1 works just fine for me. I have to take it in the morning 1 hour before i eat or else....
But once i take one in the morning, it does me just fine for the whole day.
