I just found this website and would love any replies. I am 26 years old and have been diagnosed with PG for a little over one year. I've had the same open wounds for almost 3 years but it took almost 2 yrs to get a correct diagnosis. I have no medical insurance and the bills I've incurred are ridiculous. I was on Prednisone about a year ago and it helped for a bit then I became unresponsive to it. I am now on Dapsone and have been for about 3 months, no help from it yet either. As far as the doctors can tell I do not have Crohn's. The pain from the wounds is absolutely unbelievable. I am a gym rat and love to run, but running makes the ulcer's on my legs hurt even worse (just when I think thats not possible). I am so frustrated and would love any advice.

Hello and welcome to Healingwell! This looks like your first post...alas, I don't really know all that much about PG (though I suspected it for a sore on my knee a few years ago that took FOREVER to heal)...but I cannot imagine living with it for 3 years...I hope that you can find some relief soon...
