Went to my PA today went since I have shoulder issues stemming from a car accident back in the 90's.  I also brought up to him my severe fatigue etc.  He started asking me if I have felt chills recently (he said I felt warm) also asking if my feet and hands have been getting cold.  I said I have been passing more blood in my stool lately so I figure it is my CD flaring.  He felt that all my glands on the left side are all swollen but not to the point of a marble.  He said many of his Rhuemy patients have thought their issues were flaring and he said no a stomach bug is going around with symptoms that of say a flu etc so I may be suffering from that in addition to my CD.  My labwork most recently done was may 27th and the only abnormality was obviously my sed rate at the time was high having that weird virus no one can name...but my only level messed up besides that was my blood calcium level.  I am screwed in that department though CD plus many years on pred while younger and then my family Hisotry of Osteoporosis (my nana had it and now my mother at 54 was diagnosed with it and I was diagnosed with osteopenia back when I was 22.
So wondering if I may have this virus now on top of my CD acting up...thoughts??

Someone I was living with a few months back had a stomach bug and was fine in a day but I got it and was sick for about 4 days.  It ended up aggrevating the Crohn's and giving me more Crohn's symptoms, but they ended up going away.  So, I think it's hard to distinguish between the two sometimes, but I have noticed that stomach flus always affect me more than non-Chronies.
