I am looking for a chat room website that will help me to figure out whether or not the physical symptoms I have had the past two or three days, which I have never experienced to this degree ever before in my life, are perhaps much worse than "my bumble-bee mentality" is allowing me to believe or concede !?!

Sorry if I am not writing stuff the way most people do in your chat room.

I am from New Zealand, and I am not terribly chat room savvy.

All I want and need is someone who is perhaps a combination of "courageous and common-sensical" to help me to navigate in the right direction.

Hi Imperfectly-Frank and welcome to the Healingwell Crohns forum. We are actually not a chat room, but a support group for those who suffer with Crohns. You may post any questions you might have, and those who might have an answer or experience to share will respond.

Why don't you let us know what you are experiencing or what questions you might have and see if we can answer some of your questions. Also, the forum is a little slower on the weekends, so don't feel bad if you get fewer responses.

Good luck,

The only way to know Frank is to actually get tested by a doctor.

Celiacs have the same symptoms like diarrhea and stomach issues. The difference is that with people with Celiac Disease have their symptoms caused by eating gluten and wheat products and the symptoms clear up after avoiding those foods. Crohn's on the other hand is not caused by food intolerance and is an autoimmune disease. You can go to a G.I. doctor to test for both.

Also, I wonder if you could stop eating gluten and all other prodcuts that someone with Celiac would stop and see what you are feeling like. Perhaps trail and error might help
Was on Kapidex, and Pentasa, multi Vit, Vit D. Started on Predisone and my legs started paining with loss of control. Doc stopped all meds until I can figure out was is happening with my legs. Off meds for 4 weeks and have returned about 75% to normal.
