Well, I officially declare today to be International Be Nice to Ivy Day, as I am feeling pretty delicate and fragile right now.

Basic tlcs:

* write out some affirmations
* spirituality stuff
* tlc for body (bath? face mask?)
* go back to bed whenever I feel tired
* fun needlework
* volunteer stuff
* don't feel bad about mess, but just do as much or as little as I feel able
* do some exercise or stretching
* cook a nice lunch
* cuddle cats
* spend some time outside, if it ever stops raining

And try to:

* prepare for tomorrow
* do some / all dishes
* make bed or straighten sheets
* give relationships some tlc
* write a voting list for myself, so I can vote when I'm out next week
* do some tlc for my life & stress, if I feel up to it.

(((Ivy))) just be nice to yourself. As they say "it can wait".

Went for a nice walk by the beach with hubby yesterday, today I am going to attempt to do the same. We also have to do laundry, then after maybe grab a bite to eat. Possibly go by and visit family for a few. That seems a bit adventerous for me, but hopefully I can do it all. Hugs!

Ivy -- I heartily support Be Nice to Ivy Day. Hope you get some nice relaxation.
Choc -- I'm excited about your kittens.
Nanners -- enjoy that walk. I like your attitude of being gentler.

I'm still just putting up with the guests. Stressing made me sick this morning. I'm having to be hypervigilant because one relative quite willfully flouts all rules regarding the kids, including safety ones. Basically, one of us needs to be there at all times to make sure things don't get crazy. She hates it, but she lost our trust a long time ago. She's family, so we want the kids to know her but more important they need to be safe. Anyway, the whole unwanted situation, little sleep and not properly eating got the better of me now. So today's TLC:
- hydrate
- eat gentle foods
-guard my kids
- remind myself there's just one day of this
Mom to two healthy Pentasa babies. 6+ years remission, woo hoo!

Hmm...TLC for me...
*stay away from message boards/posts that irk me(not here, but on my stitching forums)
*speaking of stitching, get some stitching done...
*try and get this blasted fever down
*watch a movie that will make me happy, or take me to another better place in my mind
*find that good place in my mind, anger and frustration, no matter their source can be toxic (at least for me), and if Crohn's has taught me nothing else, is to just "let go"

Nanners, what part of the world do you live so that you get to enjoy these walks on the beach? I'm hoping you can do that today...
Inflamed, I hope it works out...may this day be over quick for you...
Ivy, I hope you had a good day and that your Monday isn't so full of appointments
Choco, I hope you have a good day...
