I have a Crohn’s related anal fistula.

Sometimes the pain seems to refer to other body parts.

For instance, the fistula was bothering me today, and the pain was referring to my left hand. I took a bath, and, in the tub, I touched the fistula with my right hand, and immediately got a sharp pain on the back of my left hand, which went away as soon as I stopped touching the fistula.

Other times, it has referred to my chest, or as an itchy feeling a few inches above the ankle of my left foot.

Has anyone here ever experienced similar symptoms?

I have not had that happen with my fistula, but have had it happen with other Crohn's pain. I hope you feel better soon.
