My employer (who is self-insured) hires an independent research company to tell us where the best results are being had for each chronic illness and yes, when they looked up Crohn's just last week, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester came back as #1. I've heard nothing but good things about the Cleveland Clinic also so I would guess either is going to provide good care.
I am in the same boat and contemplating going to the Mayo as my local GI doctor is just not a Crohn's expert and I am losing faith that he can get me to a manageable state with this awful disease.

Crohn's for 15 years, dx'd correctly Feb 2010, have fistulas. Bad neurological reaction to Remicade, started Humira August 2010. Have had horrible abdominal pain since & lost over half my hair and GAINED 15 lbs.! Humira isn't working, fistulas aren't healing!
52 year old female on Humira, Prednisone (EVIL), 6MP, Ambien, Lortab, Boniva, Calcium, D3, etc.
