I just started Humira 1 week and 5 days ago. I started getting some energy back about a week after being on Humira, but I didn't get my hopes up because I was also tapering off of prednisone and sleeping much more soundly which could account for the increased energy. After almost a month and a half of being sick with a severe flare, I finally got a letter from the hospital about my blood work- NORMAL! (Well, normal for a person with IBD.) I have a follow up appointment with the GI doc tomorrow who will probably want me to schedule a colonoscopy to make sure I'm healing normally, but now I have hope! Ah!!! I'm so happy that I might be back to being a normal person again soon!!!!
